You may retake the exam if you

  • were approved to sit for the APAC-BE less than one year ago and
  • have only taken the exam once since your application

Submit payment to retake

 

Once you have submitted your retake fees, you will receive instructions on how to register to retake the exam through PearsonVUE testing centers or through OnVUE virtual online proctoring.

If it has been more than one year since your first application, or if you have taken the exam twice since your application, you will need to reapply.

The computer-based exam is available through Pearson VUE testing centers and OnVUE online proctoring, and the paper-and-pencil exam is administered in person at the conclusion of the National Conference at the end of January.

  • who are retaking the exam within one year after failing on the first attempt

  • Candidates who fail the examination may retake the exam with a valid application, for a maximum of two attempts per year.
  • Candidates retaking the examination within their one-year eligibility shall submit an exam retake fee.

Testing center fees

through Pearson VUE and through OnVUE remote online proctoring

  • A candidate may cancel or reschedule their testing session with the testing site when they are more than two (2) days in advance of the testing appointment.
  • If the cancellation or rescheduling request with the testing site is made within two (2) days in advance of the testing appointment, the candidate will be considered a no-show and will forfeit the fee for their scheduled exam.
  • A candidate who does not appear for their testing appointment at the testing site and has not contacted the testing site to cancel or to reschedule, will be considered a no-show and will forfeit the fee for their scheduled exam.
